Recovery Specialist

Valley Vista is seeking caring and motivated Recovery Specialists at our Vergennes facility, for all shifts. This position will help patients have a positive and successful recovery by ensuring the patient understands her responsibilities in the program and giving guidance when needed.

Job Duties:

• Facilitate groups, support patients in making positive changes, and de-escalate situations.
• Provides day to day oversight of patient activities.
• Provide support in patient recovery, model healthy behavior, and provide a safe environment for individuals to grow and heal.
• Transport patients for admission, discharge, medical appointment, etc.
• Provide orientation to new patients and check in personal property.
• Attend shift change report meetings.
• Assist in client discharge process.
• Chart interaction with patients and observations made in patient’s record.

Job Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• A minimum of two years freedom from chemical abuse problems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour
