Yes, we are in network with BlueCross BlueShield, United Healthcare, Beacon, MVP Health Care, Optum, CDPHP, Cigna, Harvard Pilgrim, Martin’s Point Health Care, and Green Mountain Care. 

Yes, Valley Vista is licensed through the Department of Aging and Independent Living, and certified through the Vermont Department of Health – department of Substance Use. 

Valley Vista can work with clients to secure transportation.

All evidence based practices, the modalities we utilize are CBT, DBT, EMDR, EFT, Narrative, ACT, REBT, Bi-lateral stimulation, Skills based, Sensory, Music, Seeking Safety, Play Therapy, and Experiential. Active therapy, mindfullness, meditation. Yoga, reiki, creative writing/journaling. The Change Company – Programming.
Group therapy is 7 days a week, individual sessions with your therapist occur 3 times per week.
At this time, we are not affiliated with any aftercare program. This gives us an opportunity to find the best possible opportunity for additional care after you complete our program. We believe in treating each client as an individual and will find the next best step for them on their journey in recovery. Our team of dedicated aftercare planners start working with clients within the first 24 hours.

The average length of stay ranges from 14 – 35 days, based on several different factors including clinical assessment, insurance, and client’s needs. 

At this time, families are invited to participate via Zoom or Telephone if deemed appropriate for the client’s recovery.

Valley Vista has gender-specific programs. Bradford is our men’s program and Vergennes is our women’s program. We believe that this enables us to best serve our clients in an environment that promotes recovery. Both Bradford and Vergennes have their own medical detox and residential programs. 

Yes 3 meals per day, snacks, juices, Gatorade 24/7

The Valley Vista culinary staff provides for specialized dietary needs for clients with diabetes, low-sodium needs and other dietary necessities as medically prescribed or specified.

Yes, clients can leave for group outings with Valley Vista staff.

Yes, we believe it is important to have a roommate to help build connections and community. 

Yes, Valley Vista permits smoking at designated times throughout the day. Disposable vapes are also permitted. 

Yes, please inform our admissions staff of any prescriptions and bring them with you.

No, the goal of treatment is to focus on healing without distractions and stressors of everyday life. You will be able to use our phones to speak to family members or loved ones.
