Providing Crucial Structure
Full-Day Schedule and Clinical Treatment

Valley Vista takes pride in offering a full-day schedule that adapts to the unique needs of each individual and the dynamics of therapy. This flexibility ensures that clients receive personalized care while benefiting from the structure and routine that are integral to the recovery process.
In our inpatient program, clients engage in individual and group therapy sessions for 6-8 hours a day, seven days a week. This intensive therapy schedule is designed to provide continuous support, foster a sense of community, and address the diverse needs of individuals on their journey to recovery. Our therapy programs are overseen by Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and supported by our on-site psychiatrist and psychiatric nurse practitioners.
A full-day schedule establishes a structured routine, providing a sense of stability and predictability for individuals undergoing addiction treatment. This structure is crucial for individuals transitioning from the chaos of addiction to a more stable and controlled environment.
Keeping individuals engaged throughout the day minimizes idle time, reducing the likelihood of boredom or restlessness. Idle time can be a trigger for cravings or negative thoughts, and a full-day schedule helps occupy the mind with constructive and therapeutic activities.

Cultivating a fulfilling and substance-free life
Outings During Treatment

In addition to a full-day schedule, Valley Vista recognizes the importance of therapeutic outings as a valuable component of residential rehab. These outings offer a range of unique activities designed to contribute to the overall well-being of individuals on their recovery journey.

Valley Vista’s program incorporates a variety of outdoor activities, including meditation walks, snowshoeing, and hiking. These activities not only provide physical exercise but also immerse individuals in the serenity of nature, fostering a holistic approach to healing.

Therapeutic outings provide individuals with exposure to real-world scenarios while in a supportive and supervised environment. This exposure allows them to practice coping strategies learned in therapy in different settings, preparing them for life after residential rehab.

Incorporating activities like barbecues and outdoor sports demonstrates Valley Vista’s commitment to integrating fun and enjoyable experiences into the treatment process. This integration helps reshape the narrative around recovery, emphasizing the possibility of a fulfilling and substance-free life.
