What We Offer

What to Expect at Valley Vista

All Valley Vista clients get personalized treatment plans designed to fit their needs. Here’s a little bit about what to expect in our program, starting with the detox process. If you have any questions, please call Valley Vista for more information.

Medical detoxification (detox) services help you get through the initial withdrawal process from drugs and alcohol. Quitting substances on your own can be highly uncomfortable. In some instances, withdrawals can even be dangerous. Many people experience cravings and other physical, emotional, or psychological symptoms that make it difficult to get through the detox stage on their own.

At Valley Vista, clinical staff are available 24/7 to help monitor and address withdrawal symptoms while you move through this stage. Unlike most other rehab centers, clients in the detox process at Valley Vista start therapy right away, and detox is considered part of our inpatient program rather than a separate level of care.

Our inpatient rehab program is intensive and thorough. It consists of daily group therapy on weekdays and weekends and individual therapy three times per week, as well as other services. For example, meals, recreation, and other activities (e.g., life skills or medication management). The length of your treatment stay may vary based on several factors, but most clients remain in inpatient rehab at Valley Vista for around 28-35 days.

Inpatient rehab at Valley Vista gives you the chance to heal from substance abuse, form new routines, and build a set of healthy coping skills away from daily life triggers. We ask that laptops stay at home so that you can focus on recovery, but you will be able to keep in touch with loved ones during treatment. Family members and other loved ones are welcome to join family therapy sessions online as needed.

Valley Vista treats all types of substance abuse. We also work with dual diagnosis disorders like anxiety and depression, which are common in people with substance use disorders and should be addressed in conjunction with addiction for the best treatment outcomes. However, because our treatment center is 100% dedicated to addiction recovery, we don’t treat standalone mental health concerns.

Although Valley Vista is a fully inpatient treatment center, we know that recovery doesn’t end once your stay with us is over. To help you transition back into day-to-day life smoothly, you’ll work with staff to create a personalized aftercare plan before you leave treatment.

Optum can help you pay for various aftercare services, including outpatient treatment programs, sober living arrangements, continued therapy, and ongoing medication management services. We can provide referrals to services in or near your desired area that accept Optum insurance.

Additionally, former Valley Vista clients can access our alumni program for ongoing support and connection. Offerings for alumni include check-in calls with team members, online meetings, and in-person alumni events or get-togethers.
